Early on Wednesday morning, Adam Andrzejewski was a guest on the national radio program, America’s Morning News in Washington, DC.  A fast moving four minute segment covered all the major details of our lawsuit to compell Illinois Comptroller Judy Baar-Topinka to produce the state’s line-by-line electronic checkbook.

This is a settled non-partisan issue.  Republicans want to see the spending to prove spending cuts.  Democrats want to see the spending to make sure that it’s effective and serves people with true needs.

People are pretty shocked to hear that the Comptroller refused to obey Illinois Freedom of Information Act law and is hiding the line-by-line details of state spending.
